Zanon Research & Innovation is pleased to have signed a new contract with Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste (elettra.eu) for the fabrication of 1 UHV copper chamber for the superconducting magnets which will be installed in the new storage ring of Elettra 2.0 project.
Elettra 2.0 (elettra2.0) is an upgrade of the existing Elettra synchrotron and it is designed to significantly enhance the brilliance and the coherence of the X-ray source, surpassing the capabilities of the current facility. As a fourth-generation storage-ring based X-ray source, Elettra 2.0 leverages cutting-edge advancements in accelerator technologies.
