Zanon is proud to announce the newly signed contract: IJCLab for the European iSAS Project. This project is dedicated to the development of energy-efficient accelerator technologies. Its main objective is to design, prototype, and validate innovative, high-impact solutions that significantly reduce energy consumption in Superconducting Radio Frequency (SRF) accelerators. All this in order to maintain the same performance levels, even though energy consumption is reduced.
Throughout this project, Zanon will be responsible for the fabrication of four 800 MHz SRF cavities. These will be integrated into the cryomodule prototype.
Zanon is honored to be part of this cutting-edge research, which represents an important step towards the improvement of energy sustainability of advanced accelerator infrastructures. We are truly excited to see what is to come with this project!
